Maybe it's my machine. Maybe it's something else entirely. Why cannot I not play a full game all the wa through? I haven't played a complete game since Christmas. Crash, crash crash. I've tried reinstalling it (no patches now), no luck, the wars are getting even shorter now. Every new game gets shorter and shorter. What gives? :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad: :confused:
 
Well you definately want the latest patch 1.03b installed, use just this patch do not install the previous patches first.

Also make sure your Audio and video drivers are the latest available and that you have all your operating system upgrades/Patches.

After that the first thing to try is renaming your AVI folder to AVI_Back, this will cure some major problems with some systems, although you will no longer see the intros.

If you still have problems after that, please post full system specs.
