I've played over 160 hours of Victoria 3 with relatively few issues. After a few days of not playing Vic 3 over the holidays, I loaded up the game again to find that, for some reason, I wasn't able to pan or zoom whatsoever on the map. I tried reloading the save and got the same result. I then tried different saves, reloading the full game, verifying the game files, restarting the computer, etc. I gave up and tried again on other days. Today, trying to troubleshoot the issue once and for all in order to continue a multiplayer game, I tried loading the game in windowed mode, then debug mode. Debug mode popped up with 270 errors in one instance and 278 in another. I've attached an error log in hopes it may shed any light on what's going on, but it seems like there's some kind of big problem going on. I tried rolling back to an old version, then tried returning to the current one. I uninstalled the game entirely and reinstalled it, to no avail. I'm slightly hesitant to start deleting my Paradox folder files in case something's gone wrong with them. I've never played with any mods installed. The game is essentially unplayable and I can't pinpoint how it's come about.

The game has not changed since mid-December, so this must be caused by some local issue or change.

If you have any game controller or joystick plugged in, try unplugging them before starting the game.

If that doesn't help, delete (or if you prefer, rename) everything in the Documents/Paradox Interactive/Vic3 folders except any valued saved games. Does that help?
