Game freeze at 29.04.1172

Hi,

I was playing as King of Sicilia from 1066 on. But at the 29.04.1172 the games freezes instantly and theres nothing i can do, except of reset the computer. I also try to play other countrys from the save game on but its always the same . I habe the patch 1.05 and the german translation on it but no other addons. Any idea would this could be?

Welcome to the forum.

Usually when such a thing happens then a character in your game is bugged, it is almost impossible to find the exact character and to know what is wrong with him.

Try to start from a earlier save and then see what happens, that's all I can tell.

BTW, if press escape (sometimes you'll need to alt-tab first, even though nothing seems to happen) then the game will probably stop, saving you having to reboot your machine to get out of the freeze. You can then restart the game. This won't prevent your problem, but at least will make it less painful when it happens.

Earlier save has the same crash on the same date, even though a few other events happened differently. It sounds like this is happening to a lot of people. Maybe one of the new character traits?

I'll try another game. It will be a pity to have lost all the work that went into this one.

The original posters problem has nothing to do with Deus Vult or the new traits, since he posted this a few weeks before the release of Deus Vult

So whatever the problem is in your game, it is not the same problem he has had.
