Help!
When trying to host a game over LAN and upon pressing the HOST button the game freezes. I have no option left but to CTRL+ALT+DELETE and shut the sucker down.
I have also tried to host via INTERNET and the same thing happens.
Now this might be my own fault. Im running Norton Internet Security and the first time the game launched Norton Authorization window popped up behind Victoria, there was no way to read the window but you could see it was there because the mouse pointer changed while you were moving it across the window and its buttons. I accidentally hit the "Ok" button on the Norton window not knowing if Norton now was blocking the program that was trying to access the internet.
I have tried to manually give Victoria.exe permission to access the internet, but the game still freezes. Does VICTORIA open another program when you are playing Multiplayer, if so perhaps that is the program I accidentally blocked causing the freezing problem?
I have read that Victoria uses Direct X or MSN Gaming when playing in multiplayer, perhaps this is what I have blocked? However, it is impossible for me to find out which specific program because I have several Windows programs in my Programs List for Norton Internet Security.
So my question is: WHAT programs other than VICTORIA.exe is launched when playing Multiplayer? I'm looking for the one I might have blocked in the Firewall.
