Hello there,

every time i try to start the game, the Launcher Opens normaly, but if i click on start the game ist crashing instantly
The weird thing is: It worked perfect the last few days.

I already tried everthing from here: (Link is not working apperently, its the Support Site for GamePass related Crashes at ParadoxPlaza)
I tryied the following:
- Reinstalled the game,
- deleted the complete Paradox Folder
- Updated all Drivers and Windows
- Deactivcated Windows Defender
- Checked for the Ransomeware thing
I even installed the Game on a diffrent PC -> Same Problem

I had Mods installed but i removed them before reinstalling the game, so this cant be the problem in my opinion

ntdll is crashing teh game, which makes me think you probably need to at least run a full windows update on the system.

Also noting ShadowController.exe crashed as well, this may point to your nvidia drivers being bad as well.

I would run the DDU uninstaller, reboot, then reinstall the latest drivers from NVIDIA, then reboot.

Thanks, but that didnt helped.

The good thing is, the support could help me. Theytold me that Other users with the same problem found this solutions:
(Since i cant post the links, i simply copy and paste the poste)

Fixed the issue,

Navigate to this folder:

C:\Users(YOURUSERNAME)\AppData\Local\Packages\ParadoxInteractive.ProjectTitus_zfnrdv2de78ny\SystemAppData

delete the folder called "wgs" then start the game, it will start some syncing process once you click on play in the launcher, STOP syncing the process and the game will run now .

Okay, I managed to play. The solution is weird as hell, but it worked for me.

1. Start the Xbox game pass thingy. But don't start the game.
2. Go to your start menu and search for Crusader Kings.
3. Right click on Crusader Kings III and start as admin
4. Start the game through Paradox Launcher...

... and hopefully it works for you too. I have no idea why this worked for me.

Edit:

Actually, could be because the launcher don't get admin credentials through the Game Pass thingy.

That worked perfect for me.
I also found a post suggesting that the PIKAS Cheat Mod can cause this problem in combination with some MS Game Service thingy, and even deactivating/deleting the mod would not help then.
But im not sure about this, its only a theory from one the forum threads

Thanks anyway
