We all wanted bigger maps - CS LOOKS LIKE WE ARE GETTING IT.
the challenge then becomes how wil this impact performance as the city size hits 100k and upwards?

What tests are being run in what scenarios?
Where have other gamess gone wrong when you get big, very big cities?
What lessons learned need to be applied here to get the formula just right???

Discuss. Don't be afraid to get technical.

CIM 2 handled huge cities pretty well. I am sure that C:S will do too, it is the same engine, only better.

That's the reason I think they can make a killer game... SC2013's engine was nice looking but could not handle more than a few blocks. Here we have an engine that can handle much bigger cities. My hope is that it won't do the flop.
