Game settings in launcher not available, games saves not working

Hello,

i have a problem with playing the game. Here are the screenshots of what is wrong:

I checked File permission of the Crusader Kings 3 and it looks like this:

I currently have no Antivirus software. My Disk has 28 GB of free space. I have tried to reinstall the game with no change.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

I would try to run CK3 as an administrator. Refer to the section on steam, or game pass depending on what version fo the game you have

I have the Steam version and I tried every Steam specific fixes there are on the thread you linked. Nothing changed.

What antivirus app do you use?
Add CK3.exe to the exceptions list of your antivirus app; ESPECIALLY if you have Windows Defender, add it to the Ransomware "Apps Allowed Through" list.

You may need to add steam.exe and C:/users/<UserName>/AppData/Local/Programs/Paradox Interactive/launcher-v2.2020.13/paradox launcher.exe to that list.
