I've bought CK II for windows and run it under wine. (I'm aware this is probably not PI's issue because of that)

I have the exact same issue as with CK I, the games runs slower the more time passes. After about 80 years it becomes impossible to play.

Is this the same issue as in CKI? Is it the fault of wine? Both?
 
Not sure why you don't consider the possibility that it's your hardware ... ?
