ok we have 3 players onboard and are lookin for a fourth or maybe more. saturday morning/noon is lookin like the best time to start for all concerned.

can both players who have signed up please post what countries they would prefer so we can then go about discussing any rules that people prefer? my choice is russia.

any other players who would like to join please post what days/times u can play. the current players are in europe so other europeans are the preffered choice cos it will just be easier arrangin sessions although it just depends how flexible people can be

saturday morning works for me, if we do play then 10:00gmt would be a good time to start so we can get a good few hours in.

the 1st two guys i asked to join were antiago and EarendilHE and the reason why saturday is the day of choice is that it suits both of them. i can play any evening and all weekend so maybe if all players concerned could post what days/times they can play then we could arrange another day to suit more people.

but as things stand i reckon we start on saturday at 10:00gmt.

as for rules id prefer to keep things simple, as long as the game plays out semi historical then il be happy enough.

It makes sence to add land forts limit - level 7 max per a province and also urban capitals limit - 36 divisions max.

Does the 'no allied invasion of europe' mean that the Allies are not allowed to go on the counter offensive in Germany in September 39 when the WWII breaks out ?

Also a very important question when Italy, Japan and USA are allowed to join the World War.

I might try to join you even at 10:00 GMT as UK on Saturday.

hoff - havin a rough barbarosa gate keeps the game semi histiorical at least. im not really to keen on havin it happen in 1940 for example as russia is now were near ready and i think it would ruin the game.

lets all agree on a date and time 1st and then once we know who is playin we can then decide on rules

i feel your pain regardin firewall and routers. i had a horendous time tryin to get things configured.

so how about sunday at 10:00gmt then? can everyone who is agreeable to this time please respond, then we can finalyse countries and rules.

i also think it would be a good idea to meet up on saturday morning for a quick dummy run to make sure everyone can connect to the game. at least we can iron out any probs before we start for real on sunday.
