Since the Inca update, I can't call my Allies in when I go to war:
- The flag "Call your Allies" does NOT appear at the top left hand side
- The "A Call to Arms!" in the diplo screen is greyed out and can't be pressed
- The requirements for a call to arms are met (see attached file)
- Checksum matches

I've tried several clean installs including manually removing the Europa Universalis folder under Documents.
Nothing works and my game is unplayable :mad::mad::eek:

The atttached file is just a random try with Spain after a clean install and shows a 49 positive and that there is an alliance with Portugal.

Another 3 months should do it.
That is what i fear, problaby not easy to solve, but its almost weekend and it would be great to spent my weekend playing EU

Don't get so worried guys, this is in my eyes - and others - are really critical bug, and only in one case. It should not be too difficult to push out a quick hotfix.

If not, then I really would know what to say anymore...

You can still call allies directly from the war declaration screen, right? Or does anybody have a save in which that doesn't work? Of course that won't help if you need to call them in after the war started(e.g. because you are england during the surrender of maine)

I do have a weird issue where my enemies' allies aren't being called into my wars. This happened twice. Both times they had a truce with me so couldn't be co-belligerated, and were green checks on the opponents' sides. Weirdly they were still allied with the nations I was at war with even after a year after declaring war.

Can you post a save in which this can be reproduced?

So far no luck in base game, but it doesn't happen every time. You know how in previous patches sometimes an AI would wait the full 3-4 months before they accepted a call to arms? I get the feeling it's the same situation but somehow it's bugging out. I've got a feeling for when AIs are going to do that, and 2 out of the 3 times I was expecting the wait before they were called into the war. But somehow, they never were, even after many months.

Did you maybe call in your allies when it happened? This seems to prevent the call-to-arms to enemy allies with whom one of your allies has a truce. An example of this is the following bugreport: https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/foru...t-calling-allies-into-defensive-wars.1703025/

I'm pretty sure that the AI can't do that. It was probably the same bug and the ally did not get the call-to-arms at all. But in previous versions the warleader would use the call-to-arms button to call in their ally later. But this is now bugged as well.

You can still play on 1.37.2 with steam. The bug fixes of .3 are not mandatory at all to play (besides creating other bugs).
Without being able to call on my Allies? That's not gonna work

I can create a saved game where I can't call my Allies in today after work. I'll just load up as Spain again, ally Portugal and Dow Morocco after 12 December 1444.

As far as I know the bug is only in the current patch so if you are having problems in the one before that's probably a different matter.
Can I reverse the current patch through Steam?
