Game visually glitching as time goes on when selecting my children

Description​

When I right click on my children to see the options I can do with them, it rapidly switches from trying to select "ask to take vows" as if I was hovering over it and selecting it.

Steps to reproduce​

I do not know how it first started, I just noticed it when I went to interact with one of my children. It happens randomly and continues to occur randomly but persistantly once it has happened once. I loaded the game up the next day and it seemed fine until about 1 hour in and it happened again, so I do not know the trigger. After playing for awhile I think it may be when you choose a decision for an event while the game is paused, and then persists.
