game won't install

Hey guys,

Friends of mine decided that they wanted to play ck2 so i decided to reinstall ck2 so i could play with them, but for some reason the game doesn't want to install.
I've tried it on both my ssd and hdd but after the game has been downloaded it doesn't install itself and if i press on cancel or on the x the game just appears as not installed and will force me to download it again.
Even if i leave the installing window open for a long period nothing happens.

This is obviously a Steam issue rather than a game problem.

Try deleting the Download Cache in Steam.

Then try a Steam Flush Config

If neither of those help, delete everything in the Steam folder EXCEPT steam.exe and the SteamApps folder, then run steam.exe to rebuild all that.
