Game wont run anymore. Error message "Cant find d3dx9_41.dll"

Recently bought a new computer with an RTX 2060, but now that i try to play CK2 it wont run. The error message says "Cant find d3dx9_41.dll"

When i check im running DirectX 12, and im getting error messages when trying to install older versions, and the newest version cant be downloaded seperatly.

Im writing this after looking for other people with the same issue and only finding old posts where the answer is to install the newest DirectX or no answer to the issue at all.

The game uses DirectX 9.0c, not 12. You'll need to install the latest version of that:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109
(run dxsetup.exe after extracting from this download)

If you get error messages you may have a more general Windows problem, depending on th enature of those errors.
