Gameplay EU4- cant inherit milano anymore as brandenburg

Description

fulfilled all requirements of this event, but it didnt trigger anymore. a new reign of milano from my dynasty convert milano in a republic and even then doesnt trigger the restore of the PU casus belli yet. i play brandenburg with a colonial path. My nation has no opportunity to reach the mediterranean sea. Is brandenburg broken now 4 colonial path?

Others: can aragon get the burgundian inheritance now-i thought only HRE states france or spain couldt it?

Steps to reproduce

my active DLC´s r: AoW, RoM, CS, Emperor and Leviathan

Do you mean the event The Milanese Succession (for Milan) ? It only gives restoration of union CBs for France and the emperor of the HRE.

Is brandenburg broken now 4 colonial path?
Brandenburg doesn't have an official colonial path. It just has a few asian missions for the late game.
But there are many ways how you can colonize if you really want to. I don't think that Milan is particularly useful for this, because it doesn't have a coast and its adjacent coastal provinces aren't closer to the new world than Mecklenburg or Wolgast which are right next to you. If you want to start to colonize early, you can get a coastline from your neighbors and then build a transport fleet and no-CB one of the irish minors and vassalize him and then conquer the provinces next to your vassal in Ireland(you can conquer/core provinces which have a land border with a core province of your subjects if the province is on the same continent as your capital). Some of the provinces on the western coast of Ireland can reach Beothuk in Newfoundland without dip tech 7 if you have the third exploration idea and a colonial range advisor.

Since patch 1.30, any monarchy with a royal marriage with Burgundy can get the burgundian inheritance. You can find more details on the wiki: https://eu4.paradoxwikis.com/Incident_events#The_Burgundian_Inheritance_.5B1.5D
