Gamersgate Version WILL work on Vista 64: Here's how..

It's really simple. You have to right click the Gamersgate application titled "Download Two Thrones" and set it to Windows XP compatiblity mode (I also set it to run as administrator). Run and install. Just do not install the game in Program Files (x86).

The first time I installed the game without doing the above it was missing a ton of files, the desktop exe did not work and there was no exe at all in the base folder.

Thank you very much Templier. The above procedure to download, install and run work with Win 7 as well.

Thanks worked for me.. frustration was setting in as gamergate said nothing was wrong, it works fine with win 7 without any changes.. LOL
