garrisoning troops

I just bought EU and cant figure out how to garrison my troops.This is probably a stupid question but can someone help me?
One other thing whats the fastest way to build some funds?

What do you mean by garrissoning troops? Fortresses have their own generic garrisons independent of your armies.

Are you perchance having the old "how do I load my troops on ships" problem, since I seem to recall CIV games do something similar to "Garrisoning" to load..................
