Not sure if this is WAD but here's what I'm experiencing. Been trying to get my wife to inherit all of her father's claims so I assassinated all of his children until my wife was the only one remaining. Ruler dies, but his three ducal titles are split between my wife and his grandchildren. Okay, so I figure it might be similar to primogeniture and assassinate all of his grandchildren too. Now his brother is a recipient of one of this three ducal titles (all three of which are gavelkind). I distinctly remember forcing gavelkind to be like primogeniture by assassinating all my sons except one to have him inherit and other members of my dynasty did not inherit in that case. Is the rule different for ai or is there some wacky mechanic in play that I'm not aware of?

Also, not a big problem but the game sometimes fails to load a save after I've resigned and reloaded. It just hangs there with the timeglass icon still spinning. Never happens the first time I load a save after booting up the game though.

Thanks in advance!

Update - so I finally managed to get only my dynasty to inherit. The list of heirs was first my wife and then my son (who is the son of my current wife - funny how you have to specify who your son's mother is in this game with all the assassinations lol). Strangely enough, when my wife's father dies, she inherited all his titles even though my son is listed as an heir. Previously when the old ruler died with other grandkids though, they would in fact inherit the titles. This seems WAD to me but is the display on the list of heirs failing to reflect the real heirs?
