Since there is not much going on the forums I decided to make this thread.
I personally liked Majesty 2 and Expansions, probably because it's so addictive.
If you can write down WHY you like it and why not.
You can also use poll!

I didnt like it, because many things in it were just not right. Thats why I started modding it, got addicted, and now I like it a lot.

I liked it but I though many things were unbalanced. That's why I started to mod the game.
I mean, we are lucky that we even GOT the sequel and it was not canceled.

Well, my team has started mostly due to a weak AI, that was our focus. Unfortunately, the game is very hostile to serious modifications of any sort. You are mostly limited to playing with the numbers in some files, that's it. Most of the stuff is hardcoded. We had to use very creative approaches to get things rolling. It was fun :)

Yes! I play it often, even the same scenarios over and over. I loved Majesty 1, even if it was too hard, and Majesty 2 proved just as difficult, but I was older and wiser, so I felt good when beating difficult levels. When there were no expansions, I was actually pretty frustrated and just wanted more damn scenarios! And then they gave them to me -- so of course I love all the expansions.

I didn't think I'd like Monster Kingdom, but I'm really glad I gave it a try! :D

I think I like it because it doesn't require a lot of micromanaging -- it can run itself though I'm usually a busy bee. I loved following and upgrading heroes (carrying them over from mission to mission is addictive). I love fantasy, I love RTS games, I love tower defense games (so this game lets me use them liberally), the characters are unique ... and most importantly, it's challenging! Games that just require patience rather than vigilance are boring.
