I've observed 4 hands off games at this point, and all of them are increasingly dull because of the fact that Germany never conquers France. Everything goes smooth until spring of 1940. Germany conquers Holland and Belgium with ease, proceeds to position the vast majority of its forces on the new French border, but then sits there...well for the rest of the game (or until something else, like the Soviets, draw them away). I don't know if it has to do with the fact that the French seem to have near parity in troop levels, but is anyone else seeing this is it just me for some reason?

Do you have the updatet muinch crisis? coz if you dont the germans will not get many valuable doctorines and therby will have much lower org and ground defence.

I have played two games as italy with the latest superai (with the munich patch)

In both of them germany has steamrolled over poland, netherlands, belguim, france and is way into ussr, despite the ussr having 120 divisions more than germany.

Did the French fortify the Belgium border? THis sometimes happens when the French pick their static defense strategy.

That happened once, and maybe it was the reason. Since I've installed the Munich Treaty hotfix though, hasn't happened again. I guess tech was the reason. Everything running great now.
