German DOW events

Im playing Stony Road mod (1.2 DD) for the first time. Im having fun with all the new events, but I'm not exactly sure what to do next after annexing Poland in October 39.

Should I DoW Belgium right away and proceed with the attack on France or wait till May 1940? Will I get an event for that?

Also, in DD i used to dow denmark/sweden/norway by myself and proceed to create Scandinavia already in late 1939 (didnt wait for Altmark incident). I suppose i cant do this with SR?

I can't afford to make any mistakes, since im playing on Grofaz/Furious and its my first SR game (not to mention i never actually finished a game with DD :) ). I always get bored when its clear im going to win, but with SR im really enjoying the extra challenge so far.

Grateful for any help you can give me.
 
I dont think there has ever been an event for that in any mod.
 
It would be better to wait until april 1940. Because there is a "plot against Hitler" event in case of a dow against any of the benelux. It will remove several leaders and I think Hitler will be replaced by Göring + a nice dissent-hit.
You can dow Sweden without any problems but I would wait for the Weserübung event for the dow on Norway and Denmark.
You'll be given 3Transports for nothing and they are quite expensive aren't they? ;)

OK, so i wait until april 1940 and then declare war manually on Belgium?
Will that make Netherlands join allies?

In DD i usually planned my offensive only through Belgium and took Netherlands and Luxemburg after the fall of France.
 
Honestly Mr.Spock I think you've screwed yourself over, because I am imagining the Bolshevick's rampaging through Finland and from eastern Norway than British coming from the ports of Norway and Sweden whereas you being crippled by the French themselves in several hundred Manpower losses from the Allied overpowered tactical and strategic bombers until Operation Barbarossa makes a historical comeback onto YOU and D-Day is just far more easier than it really was...

You should make an anomyous AAR out of this, Mr.Spock.. I would gladly read it heheheh...
 
I dont really have the time/will to do an AAR (and my english sucks too).
Regarding me getting screwed over...yeah....its very probable, thats why i need to know details about events. If i know im gonna win the game is no fun for me.

The winter war just started and i wanted to try something i read in some other thread. I saved the game and dowed Finland...Finalnd joins allies and suddenly they are at war with the Comitern :).

Of course this is all very unrealistic so i reloaded and went back to my planning to attack scandinavia/benelux-france.

The allied bombers have been bombing me pretty badly, but since my units arent moving and are dug in, they are doing no real damage. I, on the other hand used my interceptors to kill many of their bombers so the bombing really slowed down.

They also managed to do some amphibius invasions and first took Kiel with 3 divisions (i eliminated them right away), then later another landing and took some other province nearby. After i put defense in all the coastline provinces in the west, they landed in Gdansk. Its doing more damage to them than to me really, since i destroy their divs right away and my factories get rebuilt fast.

Yes you have to dow them manually.
If any country of the Benelux is dowed by Germany, all join the allies and France will command them.

France can become more than a problem if they outnumber you and when you give them to much time.
