I am playing the GC (1.08) as Prussia and joined an alliance with Poland. Persia also joined and quickly declared war on Iraq. I decided to join this one hoping that there would be a quick victory and I might pick up some indemnity money. Poland did not join, though, so were kicked out of the alliance. I am now stuck in an alliance with Persia and have no way out. I have not discovered them yet so cannot access their diplomacy screen (actually they don't even show up in my diplomacy screen as a country that I have a relationship with). So...is there a way out of this or do I just need to wait for the alliance to expire?
