I have a question, after trying 2x at like 3 hours a piece to finish the tutorial cause it wouldn't let me save. I upgraded the game (whiched fixed the saving problem) and decided to just see if I could counqer the world while playing the GC. So I started with England and with the help of some "enhancements" found on happy puppy. I made my country very very rich and spike all the tech levels a good distance ahead of everyone else. I started on my learning campaign. The game year is like 1590 and I am playing it like I play AOE and pretty much beating the @#$% out of countries I'm picking fights with all over the globe. And the computer's tactic of ganging up on me when they think I'm getting too big has always ended up with the total destruction of their navy's and a white peace issued or maybe a province coming my way. The only war I lost was to scotland cause I clicked the wrong button.
The ? is that nobody has a score at all for victory points. They all still say zero. Is it because of the cheats or did I not turn that on. I realized I shut the events off and corrected that only to return from a war with china to put half my country under siege, prob. cause I'm still listed as catholic in what should be a protestant country. Anybody know why I'm not getting points on this game. I didn't get any on the tutorial either when I was playing it normally. Didn't fight any wars except for with natives though.

Any Ideas?
Thanks

Believe it or not, the default setting when you first install the game is for Victory Points to be OFF. You have to actually turn them ON in the Options area before you begin your next game.

The default setting is on but as soon as you play the tutorial it is set to off. This has been fixed with 1.09 which also lets you save the tutorial.
