Giant Massive MyMap Problem

I implore all of you good & knowledgeable people to take a look at the following two screenshots (which I had to upload on rapidshare for a number of reasons), and tell me if they look like ANYTHING you've ever seen.

They were taken using the columbus cheat, and the seemingly shrouded area is fully clickable, the malfunction is obviously of a graphical nature.

If the first screenshot illustrates the general state of affairs throughout the map (China is shrouded as well, same goes for a large part of the pacific), the second one shows a weird little quirk, which makes me doubt the random nature of this phenomenon.

I've described my problem in the main MyMap thread a while ago, and was promptly ignored, so there's no other choice but to open a separate thread. I really love this game, but can't play it on the original map anymore, not since I've seen MyMap. Oh, and by the way, I have a similar problem with WATK, but I consider it inferior anyway.

The laymen's answer would be that you've mixed up/left out/deleted/over-written, etc. one or more of the TBL map files.

Are you sure MyMAP was installed correctly
If yes . To play this map you should click MyMAP.bat in MyMAP folder
\EU 2\MyMAP\MyMAP.bat
That for swap vanilla incgrid.tbl with MyMAP. With this way we can play MyMAp on moddir and still have vanilla map.
Or the other way just copy incgrid.tbl from MyMAP\MAP to EU 2\MAP but you can't play vanilla map with way.

I went with the second option. I don't really need the vanilla map anymore, as I can not reconcile myself with the idea of a linear Mongolia, and of course the (pre-)colonial view of Africa as a giant white blob. Or a black one if you will
