Given that you generally don't' form the Netherlands till at least 1550 or so, wouldn't it be nice if you could have some colonization/ special missions before then?

Perhaps you could suggest what sort of missions you would like to see in said tree?
I'm an ideal world all nations would have unique ideas and mission trees but in this reality we have only so much time and resources. An idea to implement mission statement is more likely to meet with swift success if it is accompanied by suggestions for what the missions would be (conditions, requirements and rewards)

The Netherlands already have some unique missions. I think OP suggests those missions be given to Holland as well.
