I have downloaded more mods since last played but issue persists even once I disabled mods using --noWorkshop

Edit: I attempted to reinstall the game to fix the issue, but the installation process was interrupted by the same error

If you played the free version, it only lasted the weekend (a few days anyway).

Oh, sorry, I got the free weekend version and didn't realize that it only lasts the weekend, I thought it was a 100% sale for the weekend. Thank you for your time
