GOG Galaxy fails to update the game each time

Well, I have finished my game in 1.0.0 now and wanted to revert my GOG copy back to current release. After choosing the right channel, GOG Galaxy retrieves the file list, begins - for a second - to download the 88 MB update. And then fails. Each time. Tried restarting GOG Galaxy, retrying by going back and forth between the channels. No luck. Is this a known issue? Any ideas how to fix it?
 
Well, then. Tried verifying the install. It then started downloading 214 MB of files. And after all that, still 1.0.0! It failed after downloading all the 214 MB!

This leaves a bad taste, GOG seems to be treated like a stepchild, only having 1.0.1 and 1.0.0 available, no official answer anywhere on mine and others' inquries to get access to 1.0.2. And now this...
 
Tried turning off beta channels, downloaded 88 MB, then upon finishing - FAILED. :(
 
After half a day of problems and almost giving up, it finally resolved itself now.
 
I'm sorry you had so much trouble! If this happens again please contact GoG support, as we know little about Galaxy :D
