Happily, I can report that we are now serving ~100 mods from PDX Mods to your in-game mod management tool. Additionally, should the fancy strike you, there is tooling included in the windows version that allow you to upload your own stuff as well. Happy modding!
I can go to mods.paradoxplaza.com and 'subscribe' to various mods. They don't show up in the game mod manager though. Do I need to download them and place them somewhere?
Hm, I tested this on the PDX version, but that should be identical to the GOG version, and installation should work from the website or from the in-game interface. Just open the "Mod Manager" from the main menu and you should se an "Installed Mods" tab on the top - If you click on that you'll get a list of installed mods and options to enable/disable the mod content.
Now, if you are using the Steam version of the game, you'll be using Steam Workshop mods as the PDX Mods integration is not part of that build. Also note that you need to be logged into your PDX account in order to sync up your chosen mods.
Edit: I fact I'm having some trouble enabling the mods through the in-game GUI for some reason... It does work when enabling the mods through the website though. Slightly odd. I'll ask the game team about it.
