Hello, I'm going crazy. I have been creating models in Sketchup for a long time. Now I have spent hours watching YouTube tutorials to learn how to get my sketchup models imported into Cities Skyline using either 3DS max or Blender. But nothing works. I think I'm stupid. I can't even get to see the model in the preview window of CS :. I import the model as .sk8 and unwrap it. Take the UVMap and edit it in Photoshop. Create my diffuse .png and put it in the import folder. But nothing to see. Can anyone help?

Youtube may be a large source of information, but for me it is hard to filter good or relevant content. So here is something to read. ;) I hope it helps as i did not tested it myself.
In short, there are two ways:
  1. Upload to 3D Warehouse and download .dae-file
  2. Use addon for Blender 2.79
