After the bloodshed war with Macedon and Thracian, I tore their Nation Down and found the Lost Eagle I got a bonus of 20% bring my Stability to 82% and thinking about it. Should a Golden age be implement somehow on the game, when reach 100%? What you guys think ? I should mention that my armies are now more advanced like lvl 20 on military techie and this is huge advantage against many nation now. If Golden Age were somehow implemented how should be the bonus and for how long?? Golden age for me now would bring a huge advantageous against other nations.

The Persian Empire now surge on the global politic of the world. I would like to mention that even with the scoreboard showing that I'm the first, somehow I hope to find some hard battle and proper wars. Like we all know a little battle could change the entire war even with a huge disadvantageous.

After that War I though maybe the techtree/invention should change for tribes and other nations that follow a different way of societies than Persians, Egypts,Italian,Greek and Canaanites nations.
I still think the heavy infantry of Gauls should change, they know how work with Iron years before the Rome Nation.

The other thread that a I talked about somethings:

Lost Eagles
The game as on its stage now I:R 2.0

I don't think Golden Ages are needed as its own mechanic, since they can be pretty well simulated by existing mechanics. If you've arranged for the situation to be prosperous, with high stability and a strong economy for outwards expansion with a technological advantage to boot, you ARE in a golden age. I always felt the "click button get bonus" Golden Age of EU4, for example, was ridiculous. In a rut? Declare it a Golden Age for your nation and suddenly all is well! Of course, that's not what you're suggesting here, but it's the same kind of spirit: Achieve metric X, receive bonus Y.

I agree with you in that stiff opposition should be possible, but that's more of an AI issue than something that needs to be mechanically enforced. If you fight in a situation where the AI is in a good position to resist - such as a war with a small, concentrated front - they can still put up fierce fights if they're on roughly equal footing.

One important thing about Golden Age is that your civilization are on Peace Deal and for the roman/greek ages they were been blessing by gods. This could be Achieved when conclude a major event like building wonders or won historical battle. This won't allow you declaring war and other declaring war on you maybe for a relative period.

I'm still thinking if I will found stiff opposition on the game now.

Fostering opposition to an expansionary player should be implemented.

Now, there is nothing to unite other nations against you.

Tribes in the north, Carthage, Pergamon, Thrace or even the Persian empire should be pushed to temporary alliances to declare on you while you have high AE or you have land for the taking (resources, historical reasons, pops, etc)

More jealousy and animosity against the player please or you feel unimportant and unloved by the game.

I find that the AI is actually pretty good at the spirit of this, if not the implementation. In yet another Persianate game of mine, I had to fortify and have armies in all my frontiers, because whenever I would declare war on Rome/Egypt/Maurya, one or both of the others would declare on me. Rome was largely a non-issue, because the front was very wide and the AI couldn't handle getting all their troops from all across the Empire to one concentrated push, but Mauryans pouring through one of two passes in the Hindu Kush and PARTICULARLY Egypt up the Levantine coast could get quite far before I was in a position to beat them. The geographical layout there was much more conducive to AI warfare, since it funneled all of their forces to an area that was conveniently reached by land.

I would like to see a mechanic where you could invite someone to an offensive war though, like in Stellaris. You don't even need an alliance there. If your rival has another rival who doesn't hate you, you can just send him a letter asking if he's in, and go to war together.
