Basically, I want to add a few countries to the game that would contravene EEP's spirit of historical determinism. Unfortunately, Paradox decided to place event text and country names (psst, I dare Paradox to split text.csv into multiple files) in the same file, so I would have to modify the EEP text.csv and, thus, release a forked version of it. In conclusion, which version, if any, of EEP will have a sufficiently stable text.csv to allow easy maitenance of a forked version.

P.S. Off the top of my head, these countries include:
-Anhalt
-Ansbach
-Normandy
-Champagne
-Dauphine
-Smolensk
-Iceland
-Azerbaijan

P.P.S. On second thought, writing a text.csv patching utility would not be hard. Of course, I'd have to find a native compiler or settle for writing it in VB (shudders) or C++.

What "spirit of historical determinism"?

And does the game really need any more French minors?

What "spirit of historical determinism"?

Well, whatever excuse you might use to not add countries that didn't exist in the timeframe.

And does the game really need any more French minors?

Yes.:)
