gotta get all the patches??

I just bought HOI and was curious as to whether I need all the patches (1.01, 1.02,1.03, etc.) in orderf to make patch 1.05 work.
Because I just installed 1.05 and now I have a bunch of problems that I never had before.

You just need 1.05.
I would also suggest installing the Fix and tweek packs "1.05C" is the latest. You can find them in the sticky thread in this forum.

Is the 1.05C going to fix the crashes 1.05 causes?

Depends what is causing the problems.
My suggestion, install 1.05C, and if you still have problems check back with me here.
