Grand Campaign- unknown strings.

Hello again,

sorry to be a pain! my newly installed and running Grand campaign a' la Hartmann- is giving me an unknown string
for the Golden Horde. Now as this has been modified
by Hartmanns patch, is this something that people are aware
of or is it just me being stupid again.

Your assistance as always is tres appreciated.

Reread the instructions in the Readme that came with the patch. You have to make some changes to the files...

I will try again, but as i understand it it I have
followed the instructions to the letter- any other ideas?

Follow them to the letter and it should work.

If You get an unknown string, then this always means that the country TAG/name in the text.csv is missing. Seems like You accidentally deleted the STE tag. Just add

STE;Goldene Horde;X;X;X;X;X;X;X;X;X;X

again. Should work then.

Hi Hartmann,

I assure you I have checked and re-checked the .csv
files and everything is as it should be. I have corrected
the unknown string for STE-Golden Horde by copying and
pasting it to another part of the list but what ever I do
I have an unknown string for Gra-Ryazan it will not recognise it at all. I am sure this is a more spefic problem than just not paying enough attention to the readme file- it is indeed most curious.
Can a file become corrupt if it has been changed/edited many times?

Sorry, but I have no clue. Please note, that whereas You are not the first player complaining about an unknown string, You are indeed the first who didn´t get it away through adding the appropriate line. If You know some other player, who plays the IGC with the same language version of the game, You should ask him to send You his edited text.csv. and look if it works. If not, then we have a problem...
