Summary

Grand Wedding betrothal broken even though one of the betrothed is underage

Description

I arranged a Grand Wedding betrothal between my underage heir and the underage daughter of my liege. At some point after my heir turned 14 (but before he came of age) I received a notification that the Grand Wedding betrothal was broken as I had failed to arrange the Grand Wedding in time.

Steps to reproduce

- playing as Morcar of Northumbria in the 1066 start, I arranged a Grand Wedding betrothal between my underage heir and the underage daughter of my liege, the King of England.
- Years later I received a notification that the betrothal was broken, despite the fact that my heir was still underage.

Reactions:
had the same issue. betrothal broken, couldn't marry my heir off. He grew up, still couldn't. I died and he became king. the option to arrange a marriage showed up then, but nobody was an eligible bride. is "duncan, king of scotland" not good enough for you, AI?

I have a different issue: my betrothed, underage grandchildren get wed automatically and with little more than a notification when they become of age. Previously the game required me to accept the wedding. I would like to know if this is intended behaviour or is it somehow related to the topic.

Click the person you sent the marriage proposition to and arrange marriage again. It's not a bug, it's a feature! xd

It is a bug because the tooltip says "If both spouses are adults, you have three years to deliver grand wedding".
Yet the timer apparently starts (at least under some circumstances) EVEN BEFORE the spouses are adults, and can thus trigger while at least one spouse is a child, making it impossible to deliver grand wedding.

In my case, grand wedding promise got reset after a bride for my ruler was on her way, and then a faction declared war on her, so she had to go back, and after she lost, she stays bethrothed, but wedding can't be conducted because there's "no promise".
