Grand Weddings are bugged when the sponsor dies before the wedding, the bride dies before the wedding or the groom dies

Description​

On multiple attempts trying to get the AEIOU achievement, even managing to form the Arch Duchy of Austria 4 times, grand wedding repeatedly become bugged. Grand Weddings are bugged when the sponsor dies before the wedding, the bride dies before the wedding or the groom dies. This happens both when marrying a male of your dynasty and also when marrying a female from your dynasty matrimonially. This bug will persist for generations, long after everyone involved with the wedding is dead. Each of these instances has happened to me, 3 times for a male dynasty member getting married. I am having problems finding my save file on Steam. Will try and provide my save file when I get it figured out.

Steps to reproduce​

Agree to a grand wedding, then die, or have your kid die, or have your kids spouse to be die before the wedding happens

This is happening for me as well. Every play through it seems inevitable that it becomes impossible to create a new Grand Wedding if it ever gets into a bugged state. Seems to be caused by any of the participants dying as OP said, or if a betrothal is broken.

Ohh I broke betrothal's trying to fix the bug. It could happen from that as well as dynamo124 suggests. Basically almost everything about grand weddings is broken atm.

I didnt really tweak anything. I tried downloading your unofficial patch and waited for a few years in game but still couldn't do a grand wedding. When I initially got the bug I tried breaking off all bethrothals. I even re-betrothed to my kid and then broke it in an effort to clear the bug. This was all last generation tho, that character is long dead and now playing as heir.
