Grand Weeding cannot be triggered; character is already in an activity

Description​

My character is betrothed with a Grand Wedding promised.
I can not trigger it in the Grand Wedding dialog, because the button is greyed out with the note "nimmt bereits an einer Aktivität teil" (already in an activity).
Nothing I can do changes this. I have made sure that both my Char and my betrothed are at home.
I have even invited the woman to a feast at my place and had her as the guest of honor, which worked fine. She traveled to Vienna and back home afterwards, but the Grand Wedding is still nto possible.

Please provide workaround or fix this fast. My achievement run depends on it!

Steps to reproduce​

Open attached ironman save. Initiate own grand wedding via button at he top (18 months remaining! I already wasted 1.5 years!!). the "start" button is greyed out.

Game Version​

1.9.0.2 Edit: actually it was 1.9.0.3, but problem still persists in 1.9.0.4 from yesterday

Is one of the characters a knight in a raised army? I couldn't have one of my characters's sons marry until I removed him from the list of knights.

So I loaded the save, sent the Duke on a pilgrimage to Cologne and tried to activate the grand wedding after his return. The result?
Two messages of already in activity, making me believe the original one was for the bride.

Yes, I wrote in my initial message, that I was able to invite the bride to a feast as guest of honor. She came to vienna and went back home and afterwards still no wedding.

One character is my player character and the other one is the duchess of Steyermark, so highly unlikely.
What can a duchess be assigned to? She is not in the council of the emperor.
