About 50 years ago, I crusaded in the Holy Land and conquered the Duchy of Jerusalem. Being on the other side of the Mediterranean, I decided to give it to the Knights Hospitaller instead of trying to hold it myself. Fast forward 50 years, and I see this:
Basically, the Grandmaster of the Knights Hospitaller is a Sunni Bedouin, with a Levantine Shiite as his heir.
If this was the end of the bug report, all would be well, but I found something even more amusing. Acting on a hunch, I decided to see what would happen if I used them against fellow Christians. I declared war on the neighbouring French, recruited them, and sent them into battle alone against the French armies. And lo and behold, the Knights attacked the Catholic French and butchered their armies.
I've attached the relevant save to this post. Have fun stomping on the Catholic nation of your choice with the Knights.
