Getting this graphical glitch while looking at the map (disappears in paper map mode).
Does anyone have any ideas wrt fixing this issue at all?
I've tried turning my settings to low and it didnt fix the problem as far as I can see.

Run a Steam verify operation against the game, does that find anything to fix?

Otherwise DXDIAG is a program you run from a command prompt or the Windows start menu 'run' dialog box (or 'search programs' in Windows 7 or later). After running it will open a window and start collecting info with a progress bar in the lower-left corner. When it completes click the 'save all information' button and save it to a file then attach that file here.

Please attach your Documents/Paradox/CK3/pdx_settings.txt
From your Documents/Paradox/CK3/logs/ folder, attach system.log .

I'm not the OP but I've been having identical issues. I'd assume that my pc just isn't up to spec if it weren't for the fact that the game actually runs quite smoothly, it's only the bars which are an issue.

Apologies for the delay in replying, I've been at work all day.
Steam Verify found nothing, please see attached the requested diagnostics

As described in this thread https://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/threads/workaround-for-map-issues-bars-on-the-map-etc.1415071/ deleting heightmap.heightmap from Crusader Kings III/game/map_data will make the bars disappear and at this point the game is playable, though the map will be a single flat tone making it impossible to see terrain types.

All three cases above are on an Intel 4000 video system, which is not supported hardware I'm afraid!

Graphics: Nvidia® GeForce™ GTX 460 (1GB) / AMD® Radeon™ HD 7870 (2GB) / Intel® Iris Pro™ 580 / Intel® Iris® Plus G7 / AMD® Radeon™ Vega 11
If youdon't have access to a machine with supported hardware, please seek a refund for thus purchase.

Sorry about that!

I've already played over the limit for a refund on steam, if you can't help is there anything I can do.

Did you see the workaround in post #7 above?

I'm having a similar issue.
Did you see my post #8 above? That does apply to your case too I'm afraid.
