Hi. I love this game, BUT the constant crashing on my PS4 is completely crazy. C-34878-0 I can't even use some of the add ons and it error coded before i even added those on my first game. Your game seems to work fine in the beginning but once you get to a certain point it slows down and stops saving. Even on autosave. Regular at that point is useless. This seems to happen just as the game gets interesting with all the top tech. I hopefully wish you can fix the MANY issues in the game as it is still an awesome one. I've tried playing 5 times and it usually happens around 2500 to 2660. 2667 the longest I've played. I was just about to open the L-gates i was waiting to research on. Had to get the fleet ready. I could write a book on the errors in this game but i tried to be succinct here as i could. I sincerely hope you are able to patch all of them as ot is I'm not getting the new cool add on and putting the game away. Telling everyone to not buy it either. It'll just frustrate you and take your $$.

I've never played past 2470, most people set the tech cost to 0.75 and turn the midgame, endgame, and victory year settings down so you can get most things done before it slows down too much.

if you are having issues with lag there are steps you can try to take and fix it before giving up completely

1) Tweak your Galaxy settings - This is often the key issue as to why games lag, if a galaxy is too big or if you have too many ai empires (this includes fallen and marauder empires as well) it is basically a cluster f for the internal ai to calculate all that stuff. You could also tweak things like Primitive Civilizations and Habitable Worlds to lower numbers as well as those can eventually cause issues.

2) Contact PlayStation tech support, I don't know if they have a dedicated list of things to follow to try and fix stuff like Xbox does, but they may be able to give you some advice on things you can do to try and mitigate the problem [they may also tell you to contact Paradox Interactive but realistically there isn't much they can do as the system runs the game as best it can]
