Guaranteeing a rival shouldn't be allowed

In my Switzerland game, Bavaria is guaranteeing Memmingen, who is also their rival.

Imo, a guarantee should automatically be cancelled if you select the guaranteed nation as a rival, and the button should be blocked if you are already rivaled to said nation.

I saw this too. Hungary was guaranteeing their rival Wallachia and even had a truce with them from a war a few years earlier.

Yeah, i'm guessing it's an AI thing, because i can't guarantee any of my rivals. Summoning @Gnivom Might this be a bug?

I've noticed that the problem still persists. Papal state is guaranteeing Savoy, but they're also rivaled to Savoy.
