In my MP game on hamachi (via internet and typing IP adress, not lan), me and my friend often experience lag. Sometimes his clock-time stops on a certain hour and mine flows normally, so I have to pause game in order to let him catch me up. Reverse happens when he is a host - I am lagging. We both turned off firewall and antivirus protection. What is causing this slowdown?

Your internet. You gotta live with that and it truly SUCKS. The best way to deal with it is pauses in peace and slowing the game down at war times.
