So I've got a really bad reputation and I need to lower it quickly as it's currently causing -8 disloyalty to my vassals. I think I read that having too many claims on titles gets you a bad rep, so is there an easy way to relinquish claims? I did try to do it during peace deals but it costs so much prestige. Anyone got any tips?

Giving up claims (after a war) is the quickest way to reduce your Badboy-points.
