Have Emp. of Byz. and King of Armenia as titles; how do I make Byz. the main title?

Nabbed the title Emperor of Byzantium from my arch-nemesis, Eustraios, king of Persia. I was King of Armenia prior to becoming Emperor of Byzantium; how do I make Emperor of Byzantium my primary title? I own most of the Byzantine provinces. I want that purple!

Nabbed the title Emperor of Byzantium from my arch-nemesis, Eustraios, king of Persia. I was King of Armenia prior to becoming Emperor of Byzantium; how do I make Emperor of Byzantium my primary title? I own most of the Byzantine provinces. I want that purple!

There are two ways

1. Give the title of the Byzantine Empire to your heir, then save and reload as your heir and either wait for your current character (the king of Armenia) to die or use the 'die' cheat.

2. Edit your save-game file. You do this as follows:
- Open your save-game file
- replace all entries of BYZA with XXXX
- replace all entries of ARME (just ARME, not ARMEnian) with BYZA
- Replace all entries of XXXX with ARME

When you open your save-game with Wordpad or Notepad you can use ctrl+h to search and replace.

Do note that when you use the second way, everyone that had a claim on Kingdom of Armenia will now have a claim on Empire of Byzantium instead, and vice versa.
