I had a very interesting game going on where I was playing Buddhist Bohemia but my game always seems to crash on April 1st (quite ironically).

I have a few workshop mods downloaded but not active AFAIK. The save game was on what I believe is the most recent patch and was saved on the 2nd of this month. I'm gonna see if the new beta fixes it.
 
Well, not necessarily, given it crashed under 2.1.4 too. Can we get a link to that game please?
 
Hi, it seems I'm having the same problem.
My game is crashing on the first of the month, although the date varies. If I happened to have saved the game less than a month before the crash, the crash will happen at the end of that month; if i load a previous saved game, the crash may happen on a different date, but always the first of the month.
Right now I'm in the year 1278, the crashes started happening around the year 1250 (that's my best guess)

What information should I post in order to get some help with this?

UPDATE: I tried starting a new game, this time using the AGOT mod and 3 years into the game, it crashed on the first of the month

We don't support modded games here, you have to take that up with the mod author.
 
Let me restate the problem since it seems we are having a misunderstanding here.
About 3-4 weeks ago, I started a new UNMODDED CK2 game. About a week ago, the game started crashing at apparently random times. The frequency of the crashes increased to the point where the game is now unplayable.

In this link (http://www.speedyshare.com/uFahF/save-games.rar) you can find two saves from that game: Alba1 and Alba2

Alba2 starts on August 24th 1278 and always crashes on September 1st 1278

Alba1 starts on February 1st 1278 and crashes at a random date but always on the first of the month.
The last five times I loaded this save it crashed on the following dates:
November 1st 1278
July 1st 1278
April 1st 1278
November 1st 1278
March 1st 1279

For the sake of testing, I opened both saved games in my older computer and had the exact same problem.
I also started a new (modded) game in my current computer and three years after the start it crashed on the first of the month.
I tied a clean re-install as you suggested in other posts and nothing changes
I tried the 2.1.5.2 beta version and the game crashes while loading
I set autosave to monthly and the crash happens before the autosave

I think your nVidia driver is up to date, but do make sure the game is running on the nVidia not the Intel.

Both those games crash for me on 1sts of months too, under 2.1.4 2.1.5.3 and the internal beta. I'd guess there's an event that's doing it, although why it's not a more widespread problem than just you I don't know.

In any case I'll log a new bug against those games. I'm not sure any fix will make the next beta patch or two, but it will get fixed soon - crashes tend to get priority. So I'd put those games aside and test them each time a new patch comes out.
 
I apologize for my absence but my exact case occured with the same consistency as emperador43'2 just with different dates. After starting a new game (without mods this time) I'm getting the random timed crashes that they are, either on the 1st of April or after 2-5 minutes of play on the unmodded save. I've provided my two saves as Abyssinia crash and Bohemia crash.

2.1.5.4 causes many people slowdowns, especially with existing save games. So I imagine there'll be yet another beta needed for that issue.
 
I've been running both of your saves (Alba1 and Alba2) for a few years on our latest version. The game seems to be running fine without any issues. Since we have fixed many stability issues from beta patch 2.1.5.3 and 2.1.5.4, I suspect these crashes might have been fixed as well.

Hold on to your saves and try it again once we release a new patch.
