Hearts of Iron: Doomsday Armageddon

I have bought Hearts of Iron Anthology and i installed Armageddon on my coumpter and two of my friends.

We all log into the channel of "COMMON" and i host the game, they all tell me that i have a different version then they do. I look again and we all have the same exact version, there fore i need help on how to fix it. How do i make this work?

By The way, i tried that 1.3a patch but it didn't work, it only messed up my Hearts of Iron

do each of you have different checksums? (the four-letter code next to the version number). I think the Armageddon 1.1 checksum is GKCW, not sure though.

if one of you doesn't have that, it means you made modifications to some part of the game. so either remember what those were and change them, or do a clean reinstall.

i have the same prob. me and my mate have the same versions and checksum, we get all the way to hosting/joining on vnet, and it always says can't find game, and in the same message it always displays the correct IP address! we have tried in HOI2, HOI2DD and HOI2DDArm, always using the same versions & checksums, always the same result in each.

we have been trying for ages to overcome this. there is some setting somewhere that we can't find. it is very frustrating.

its your router being a bitch. you need to have the correct ports open, or better yet DMZ enabled, which completely opens all ur ports to the internets. What kind of internets do you have? DSL?

dschingis, DMZ on, all correct ports are open and forwarded, as recommended on this board.

my internet is satellite, but it has worked fine using HOI before.

MP for all my paradox games stopped functioning when i installed HOI2DD:Arm.

I don't have a router.

I have Comcast interent. The game never works. I found something that i want to try, Hamachi VPN, it creates a virtual privet network that computers see as LAN over the internet. Do u think that will work?

Hamachi works well. Even has a good chat function.
