I have this terrible IGC monarch, Dimitri I. How can I remove his ability to raise revolts? I know, this is cheating but this RR (22% in Moscow) is far too much. And there is an F12 cheat to remove rebels. If I use it, can rebels be switched back later? Thanks for any possible replies.

Yes

Typing 'alba' will turn rebels/rebellions off. Type 'alba' to turn them back on.

Anytime you want to find out cheats, it's a simple matter of googling '[game of choice] cheats'.

It also depends upon why you have 22% revolt risk.

If it is because you have a neverending war, make sure to end all wars asap and war exhaustion will go away.

But since Ivan has the game-given ability to bring (non-)random events that increase revolt risk, you might want to cheat either by deleting them from the savegame (or reducing the revolt risk increase) or simply by saving the game and then loading. (This latter solution won't reduce the revolt risk you have, but it will stop Ivan from summoning up more such events and finally the troublesome times will end)

Make sure to shop for +3 stability and increase tolerance for orthodoxy to the max, and you should manage fine. :)

Yeah, it's cheating. :p There's a reason that period is known as the Time of Troubles. :eek:o

Interesting ideas here. Managed to survive finally, and beat down a brave little Novgorod too :) completely forgot about the TC :)
Bytheway, if my RR got up to 22% nothing will help, it's like a shorter Dutch Nationalism (aka unstoppable)
