With the old man as ruler the country was fine and stable. All of my subjects loved me devotely (100%). The the old man crouch, his son takes over and suddenly every single vassal breaks free and start a war.
So I go out and conquer them, takeing back my righfull claims as I see it and install my daughters as dukes with a few provinces(my other son(that is the heir) have to wait. I don't want him excomunnicated too). My reputation rises from dishorable scum to extremly bad or something like that.
1. Why did all the vassals turn against my son when they was so devoted to his father? The son didn't even get a chance to prove himself.
2. I assume takeing provinces from chatolics is what made my BB shoot in the roof( as the old man was honorable). If I could choose I would like to keep the vassals under me, not racking up a huge BB by takeing them myself. Is there anyway to do that? To keep the provinces as vassals under you? Becouse handing them back to other people afterwards doesn't seem decrease BB as much as it increased while I took them. Also, is there something smart you could do when you expect the old man die soon, to minimize the problems?
My BB is now reducing vassal loyalty with 9 pr month. I get some + from scutage, laws and etc, but it still goes down with about 2 each month from an already low starting point. I think I have one count that didn't went to war with me and now the arabs are attacking alos. Really bad timing since my man power is really now with 1/3 of my provinces looted or revolted+ they aren't fully reinforced after the vassals war.
3. Can you loose BB that way by the way? Letting arabs take over some provinces and then take them back BB free? Probably not, but worth to ask.
4. How much BB do you get from takeing a province from a count? Does it matter if the count only have 1 or several provinces?
5. How much BB is taken away when you give a province to a vassal?
6. How much BB do you have for the different view on you? Like honorable, sidhorable scum, extremly bad and so on.
7. How much does BB decline each month/year if you don't do anythign to increase/reduce it?
8. What is the best way to deal with it when all your vassals turn against you at once? Either I have to let them go or rack up a hige BB. None of wich seems very smart.
9. If you decide to let them go. How do you get them to come under your protection again? What factors influence the chance?
