HELP! HOI on netbook!

Help me!

I'm desperate to play HOI2 on my netbook, but it looks like the screen resolution 1024*600 prevents it from running...

Is there a workaround around this, or a third party program that might help me?

What's the minimum resolution the game can be played at?

Will the situation be the same with Arsenal of Democracy? Isn't this something that's relatively easy to fix, from a coders perspective?

Change your Windows display properties - advanced button - monitor tab; uncheck the box 'hide modes that this monitor cannot display'.
You should then be able to use your display as a 'viewport' into the larger game window by scrolling around.
