i keep going threw the start up screen then it kiks me out saying that eic.exe has had a problem

Well, you should have posted this question to Tech Support subforum, it's much easier to run into a developer in there than here.
While you're at it, also add contents of your log.html file from your game's dir and tell what your operating system is, if your drivers and directx are up to date and also if you have some non-standard locales for it. "Details" of that EIC.exe crash would probably tell a lot too so make sure you provide them if you can find them. Oh, and make sure you have all three patches installed.

well i have only found one patch
the error goes like this appver 1.0.0.8398 mod name eastindia.exe

my os is win xp prosevice pac 3
my computer is an amd atolon 64 3200+ 2.21 gHz 1mb ram gforce 5200
128 vram

It might be that your video card is too weak. Package says minimum req. are a gforce FX 5700. I tried to run this game on my wifes computer with a gforce FX 5600 XT and it would barely run the opening video then would kick me off saying there was a problem.
