I am not scripting expert, therefore I would be grateful if anybody could write? I can test and modify myself.

First:

“Nobles are tired of war” or “Nobles can not sustain war” – Sign peace or 60% Realm Duress (or something like that)

Second:

“We can not sustain war” (when treasury 0 or less) – Sign peace or 80% armies are disbanded, could be also 5% of Excommunication for borrowing.

War was middle-ages habit, but it seems that total war is CK habit and we need more peace treats. I prefer many small wars.

I was actually thinking on this myself. I have not tackled events yet so let me explore it.

A problem is that sign peace by event ignores vassals. You would end up at peace but vassals keep conquering eachother -- and you can't strike back without a heavy prestige hit for breaking a peace treaty.

Also the mnplastic asked this in october 2006 ! :), more then a year ago

The events he mentioned (or very similar ones) are already in either BOPACK or even the vanilla-game

LOL!

It seems that scripting is very difficult. I was going to try and script but it seems insurmountably difficult.

It is possible to script this -- I have an event that does 'first' in my version of BoPack. So either it's already in, or I've scripted it already and it will be in Bopack-DV when I get around to releasing it.
But as mentioned it suffers from issues with vassals. It might be possible to write an even that forces any vassal at peace if his liege is, which --if given a low MTTH-- might do the trick. I'll look into it :)

I was thinking on a series where a ruler is rewarded for suporting peaceful ambitions such as developing his demise, giving power to the Estates General, freeing the serfs. Possibly giving funds to other lords. How long a realm remains in peace as opposed to in war.

IDK, these could give prestige benfits maybe?
