a couple of days ago my girlfriend bought this game and it wont run on her comp but it was activated on it, i now have it but cant activate it as all i get when i try is an error, how do i get round this problem?

If you go to your forum profile and register your game there, then refresh this forum, you'll see a 'Tech Support' section near the top. The first thread in there has a TON of activation issues fixes. Too many for me to list here.
